6th and final race

After 6 weeks of running every Wednesday in the Tour du Canton race, Wednesday was the final race for this year. It took place in Neuchatel. Much to Brandon's delight, cousin Yolan decided to join Brandon for this race.

There were 93 boys in the category 9 years old and under yesterday. Brandon finished 64th with a time of 12 min 45 sec and Yolan finished 85th with a time of 14 min and 30 sec.

Overall there were 31 boys in the category 9 years old and under that did all 6 races. Brandon finished 24th.

Brandon very much enjoyed the Tour du Canton and is looking forward to doing it again next year.

Tummy time

Alicia was perfecting holding her head up while on her tummy this week. She doesn't really like being on her tummy, but is getting better at looking around while doing it now.

Finally filled the pool

Much to Brandon's delight, (he has been asking for several weeks now), we finally decided that the weather was just perfect for us to be able to take splash in the pool.

Brandon very anxious for the pool to fill up thought the best way to assist was by checking the temperature of the water as it filled.

Two hours after filling we hadn't gotten very far, but it was time for Brandon to go to bed so we stopped for the day. Here's Brandon, a little disapointed that he had to go to bed.
The next day when we were going to start to fill again,we had to start by trying to find the holes, because the water level just wasn't where we left it nor was the blow up white thing around.

3 hours laters and 3 holes later, the pool is finally full and ready for use.
Guess who was the first was the first one in and last one out?

Rain or shine, we still get out for a walk to let some steam off.

Last weeks Tour du Canton race was in Cernier. It was one of the shorter races but had lots of hills.

Cooling down after this weeks Tour du Canton race in Les Ponts de Martel (had trouble with the camera and couldn't get a good picture during the race).

Check out my new shades, aren't they cool?

The shades are a lot more fun on top of her head than on her eyes, but she still gave a little smile and was happy to go out for a walk with Daddy.
