Happy birthday Alicia

Today is Alicia's 3rd birthday (and Melissa's birthday too, Happy Birthday Melissa) For breakfast Alicia wanted crepes (she had been asking for them all week).
After breakfast, Brandon and Alicia decorated her cake. She wanted a cake with lots of candy on it.

The pool has arrived

Our pool arrived from France today. It's a pre-fabricated fiberglass-reinforced plastic pool.
It was quite exciting to watch them manoeuver it around (I came home for lunch especially to watch)
It is 4m by 9m.

Pool

They brought the machines yesterday and started digging the pool today.He's a picture before anything arrived.
They brought a huge machine to dig the hole (bigger than the one they were supposed to bring).

The kids and the dog thought the machine was fun to climb on (hmmm)

It was such a beautiful day yesterday. About 10 degrees outside.

The digging started this morning.

Because they used a big machine, they were able to dig the hole all in one day (good thing, the pool arrives this Monday). Just as they were finishing it started to snow again.

Bowling

We took the kids bowling for the first time this weekend.

Alicia loved it. Even though the shoes were 3 sizes too big, she wanted to taked them home after. At first, she let me help her with the ball. After, she told me she was a big girl and that she could do it all by herself.

STRIKE - Brandon did quite well in his first game (he even beat me, although I've been using the excuse that it has been over 12 years since I last played. I beat him in the second game ;o)).
