This week

Monday was Brandon's first day back at school. He is now in 1st grade. When asked what he was looking forward to, he answered "Eating at the cafeteria".There was a mini tornado on lake Neuchatel this week. It only lasted a couple of minutes but was quite impressive to see.

The thermal baths were a perfect 34 degrees.

Grandma and Grandpa here for the week

Grandma and Grandpa were here for the week before heading off to HollandThe first thing Grandma did when she arrived was to try out the trampoline.
Brandon then wanted to show her all his new toys.
Out for a walk to try and get rid of some of that jet-lag (not much luck though, almost a week later they were still getting up in the middle of the night not being able to sleep).

Alicia has been doing much better eating solids this week although she didn't like Grandma giving her a bottle at the begining of the week. Good thing Grandma found the trick to get her to drink her bottle, otherwise my little girl was just going to melt away on me.

Pouring Rain

It's been pouring rain outside for the past 4 days. The lake has now overflowed. Here are some pictures of Le Landeron. Remind anyone of anything?

Much to Brandon's delight we too him to a real pool (I found the 24 degrees a little cold for me). He can't wait to go back and although I have told him he is too little he wants to jump off the 3m diving board next time.
