4 day weekend

It was a hot 4 day weekend. Outside 34 degrees. In the pool 30 degrees.
Needless to say, we spent most of the time in the pool cooling off.The kids thought it was just great.

Daddy was happy to cool off too.
Drying off after the pool.

Alicia decided she wanted to start using the potty today. She was so proud of herself. She even went pee in the potty 2 times and a poo (but I'll spare the details!)

This week

Brandon did another Tour du Canton race. This week it was in La Sagne. Here he is before the race (notice the bruise on his chin -he fell on his bicycle last weekend)

All smiles just after the race started. After the race - a little tired out.

Beautifull weekend
We had a great weekend. We were even able to eat our Sunday croissants outside.

We filled up the pool.
Alicia had a lot of fun playing in the pool as it filled up.
After it was filled up. Both the kids were in (only 22 degrees -too cold for me)

Brandon showing us what he can do.

Going up and down the ladder kept Alicia quite busy.

Sunday lunch

Hervé's family was over for Sunday lunch to celebrate Gisèle and Jean-Louis's birthdays.Good thing we have enough toys to keep everyone busy.
The two little ones talking it up as they have a swing.Ping pong was a big hit.Everyone had their turn.

Even I was able to get in a game.
Alicia also liked being pushed around on her tractor.

She thought Hervé would also liked to be pushed around.

A nice picture of Zoraïma and Alicia.

Tour du Canton

The Tour du Canton race has started again. For the 3rd year in a row Brandon is participating. Although he missed the first race in Le Landeron because both Hervé and I were working, he ran in the second one in Couvet. Getting ready before the race.We didn't get in much training this year. Brandon said he only walked once during the 2km run.As he was approching the finish line, Hervé decided to run with him while taking his picture.
Sprint to the finish

After the race.
