We took Brandon sledding in the Val de Travers..


Of course we couldn't leave without trying out their playground too...

This week

Brandon was better equipped for his second roller skating lesson. Although, he thought he was wearing too much and that it was harder to skate with.

Learning how to snorkel so Grandma and Grandpa can take Brandon out someday to see bigger fish.

On vacation

After being back at work 4 weeks, I now have 3 weeks off. Here are some of the activities we did so far... Cousin Tidji spent the weekend with us. Here they are in the pool.

Alicia loves to stand on her feet. She's so proud to show that her little legs can hold her up.

Brandon wanted to try roller blading. It wasn't all that easy and just after we started off I noticed I had forgotten the knee pads and helmut. Good thing there were no big falls.

Alicia is now 5 months old, and I thought it might be time that she try some solid food. At first, the spoon looked liked a fun game.
But after the rice spoon got to her mouth she didn't think it was so fun. She didn't want any of that and spit it all back out.
The next day I tried putting some of my milk in with the rice, and this is the face I got. Still wasn't good. She kept it in her mouth for awhile and then spit it up.
Today, I tried banana. She didn't want any of that either.

Hmm, this is starting out much harder than I thought it would. Nothing seems to measure up to mommy's milk. Brandon was much easier to get eating solids. He would eat anything.

perfect weather weekend

After rainy 15 degree weather all week, we had a super sunny 30 degree weekend.

The sky was so blue and so clear we could see the Mont Blanc from the balcony

Even though the pool was 26 degrees, Alicia thought it was too cold for her and prefered cooling off in her bathtub outside.

Brandon wanted to make a little extra money because he is saving up to buy a new DS game, so he cleaned all the windows.

Being back at work, no time to take pictures during the week anymore. Here were our weekend activities. Brandon helping mommy clean the house.

Herve took Brandon too an aviation meeting in Colombier.
Brandon thought the best thing was when the FA-18 flew by. Good thing he was wearing ear plugs. What a noise they make, I could hear it from our house.

Brandon and I took Alicia to the park to try out the swing. She stayed rather serious while she was on it, not sure what to make of it.
