This week

Valentines Day
When I came home from work on Wednesday, Brandon told me he wanted to make a Valentines card for a girl at school that he thought was really beautiful. (I'm not exactly sure what suddenly made him think this because he didn't even invite her to his birthday). Here is the card he made.
Alicia hanging out
Leaning against the leg of a chair.
Holding on to the table and then ...
letting go with one hand to say hello.

Judo competition

Brandon had his first judo competition yesterday. You normally have to be 8 years old but his club organised a regional friendly competition (there were no real winner, everyone came home with a new water bottle)

They seperated everyone by belt, then age, then weight. There were 4 children in each group and therefore 3 fights to do.

Here's Brandon checking out the opponents.
Getting a grip on the opponent.
He won all 3 of his fights. He was proud, but his dad was even prouder.

Almost a year old
Alicia trying out her birthday present from Grandma and Grandpa that arrived early. She can't wait for them to come and take her for a ride with the bicycles.

Brandon, Daryl is thinking he should exercise and get ready for your visit! Wow, you sure took down your opponent quickly. We are looking forward to you showing us some of your favourite moves.

Alicia warms our hearts with her wonderful smile.
