Brandon wanted to dress up as something scary this year.
Alicia put on the family clown suit (she can probably wear it for the next 2 holloweens, it is still quite big on her)
Did anyone else enter the pumpkin carving contest this year?
Brandon helped me carve a witch (I was a little nervous the way he was holding the knife, but he still has his ten fingers and no injuries)

Brandon would have scared me if he had come to my door! Alicia is sweet as always in anything that she wears. Next year Niagara-on-the-Lake will enter the pumpkin contest. You and Brandon made an awesome Jack-o-Lantern.
That is an amazing witch. I'm glad Brandon made up his own costume. That kind is more interesting than the bought kind. One that was really interesting last night was a kid who had made up an electric saw out of foil and went as a lumberjack who had mistakenly sawed off his arm. He even told us the story and invited us to shake the "sawed off arm" hanging down his back as he left. (His uninjured real arm was hidden under his lumberjack shirt.)
