Not everyone was happy about the move. We had 3 fish die and both birds (they died one day apart from each other and each time it was a big heart breaker for Brandon).
In order to avoid a huge drama, we replaced the birds as fast as possible.
They are both doing fine and seem to like their new home.

Do the birds sing or just look pretty?
They sqeak a little bit. Sometimes it sounds like a bed with old springs.
The birds are lovely and it was fortunate that you could replace them so quickly. Do you let them out of the cage? Are they people friendly in that do they like to be held or sit on a shoulder etc.?
We don't let them out of the cage (we don't want bird poop all over the wooden floors). They don't do much other than make little squeeking sounds.
