Because they used a big machine, they were able to dig the hole all in one day (good thing, the pool arrives this Monday). Just as they were finishing it started to snow again.

I can't even fathom having a pool dug at this time of year. We are currently getting more snow, sigh...
Actually they said it was the perfect time of year. Since the ground is hard, it is easier to dig a clean hole because the dirt on the side doesn't fall back into the hole.
What a lot of excitement for the children. It is definitely better doing it now instead of spring rainy days. Just picture the muck and kids and a dog...yuck...
How large is it going to be? Looks like a very big hole.
It will be 4x9 meters and go from 90cm to 1m80.
Maureen wanted to know what your pool was made of. I said it was fibreglass. Is that correct?
