Here are a couple of pictures from this week.
Alicia having breakfast with Hervé.
The pool got filled and cemented in this week. Having it cemented in should prevent "pool popping" which can happen when it rains too much and the pressure under the pool is so strong that it makes the pool pop out of its hole.

Pool looks good. When does Alicia start swimming lessons?
I've never heard of "pool popping".
When do you get something to surround the pool so that no child or animal falls in?
Alicia will have intensive swimming lessons on our holiday in Egypt then will start weekly lessons on the 25th.
Much to my dissmay the pool protection cover and devices cannot be put in till the pool is finished. I keep repeating to Alicia that she is not to go anywhere near the pool and she answers "I already said ok, stop saying it again and again".
I can remember when I was Alicia's age. Because there was a housing shortage in Toronto after the war, we lived briefly, one winter on Centre Island. I was warned not to go near the lagoons because they were dangerous. Of course, that is where I went... just to look.
The pool looks really nice. You guys have a lot of space in your yard!
